The story of Pivovar Antoš begins in 1536 with an honorable citizen of Slané, Ondřej Antoš, who opened a brewery and joined the across-the-country renown brewing scene. The house has since been through many owners and changes, and these often inspire names of the beers brewed there nowadays. Pivovar Antoš, most recently re-opened in 2010, uses exclusively domestic ingredients and serves beer unpasteurized and unfiltered to keep its "lively" character, as known by ancestors of the town Slaný.
